Jerry Jones, this is a open letter to you. Please take my advice. Right now you are the ‘poster child’ for white supremacy in the NFL and The United States. You are a practitioner of white supremacy. You will have to decide whether to be the Jim Crow or the Lester Maddox or the Bull Connor of your era. This is entirely your decision because you have the name recognition to do right or wrong towards your African American brothers.. Let history record you as a freedom fighter for justice. I can assure you don’t want to be the poster child for white supremacy of the NFL.
Professional football players like Colin Kaepernick, Dez Bryant, Malcolm Jenkins or Tahir Whitehead are incredible role model for justice. They are extremely brave because
they can make their millions and be quiet but they chose to stand up. They correctly
chose to speak out against injustice. They’ve
got balls. Take a page from their book. Mr. Jerry Jones. Grow some balls and stand up for justice. He
voted for President Trump and that’s a huge strike against
Don’t be loyal to a sinking ship. Right now several high profile Trump supporters have proven to be racist in their own words like John Schnatter of Pappa Johns and Roseanne Barr. You are the 3rd high profile Trump supporter who is being identified as a racist in my opinion. Voting for Trump proves that you support white supremacy. That’s enough evidence for me because Mr. Trump sounded the alarm about what he believed about African Americans and he has exceeded that expectation.
So you cannot say that you did not know what Trump stood for because Mr. Trump unapologetically stood out front when he had every opportunity to distance himself from white supremacy and he did not distant himself at all. He embraced racism as a huge part of his platform. If you had a disdain for white supremacy you missed the opportunity to speak out against then. But you have an opportunity now to oppose racism. Why don’t you do it? Your name will go down in history as a freedom fighter. Right now you appear to be a racist.
Jerry Jones, are you confused?. You do not actually own the Black football players. That would be slavery Sir. What image are you trying to project? You are not standing for justice. You are standing for white Justice only. You cannot stand for justice and still forbid the African American players to stand up for justice for all. The Star Spangle Banner is problematic especially for Black people simple because of white America’s past and present treatment of Black people.
The author of the Star Spangled banner owned slaves and later released them. His wife inherited slaves. That’s not a small matter sir.You are telling Blacks People to love oppression and second class citizenship. That’s not going to happen on a large scale. I know there are Black people who believe in white supremacy too. Let us be honest. I call them Black White Supremacist. That’s not the way most African Americans are feeling now in my assessment. To expect us to love oppression is foolish.
Mr. Jones, that’s why theses brave young men are conveying to the world at great risk to themselves and their livelihood that real justice, is important to them. Why can’t you stand with them on this very important matter because they will win in the end? You and the NFL need them unless you are willing to reduce the NFL to mediocrity. Remember that’s not the American way.
Stand with them and stand for justice and be on the right side of history because you owe African American players more than you can pay them. They account for a disproportionate about of your revenue in this business deal. First, theses players are human beings and that is worth much more than money.. The public is coming to the game and watching them because they are the very best. I know for sure you owe Africans American period because their ancestors have provided a very good life for you and your family and most White Americans because much of America’s wealth have been directly related to slavery and subsequent system rigging to allow White Americans to progress and disallow African Americans to Progress.
This rigged system assigns Black American to a secondary position in this society. This system is bad for everyone including you. This rigged system impeded the progress of all American citizens. This system allows you to deal from the bottom of the deck and call it justice and fairness. There is no justice there at all. Would you want that to happen to you just because you are white? Of course not and that’s all African Americans want. We want justice that’s never been in the history of this nation.
The Term “Make America Great Again’” Assumes That America Has Been Great to Us Too
The term “Make America Great Again’” assumes that America has been great to us too. It has not been great for us ever in the USA. It will be one day soon. Are you going to help make that happen? I hope so because it will happen with or without you or the other NFL franchise owner from Texas who has similar beliefs to yours. Is there something about Texas that makes your think antiquated ideas especially about the rights of African Americans? It’s a historical fact that Texas was late in the abolition of slavery. Texas was 2 years late. Now there are 2 NFL franchises are on the forefront of disenfranchising African Americans in the NFL. Both are from Texas.
We both know that the symbolism of the NFL is powerful. Don’t we? You are trying to hold on to a false doctrine of white supremacy and Black people are freeing themselves from it. We are all living under this oppressive false doctrine no matter who and where we are in the USA. Black Americans has to be mindful of that when dealing with Dak Prescott. He is a huge victim too without knowing it. This white supremacy system has been in effect for so long that we think it is normal because that’s the way it has been over the generations. White supremacy is as American as apple pie. It is normalized to all of our detriment.
I am so glad we are having this conversation because if we continue we will come to a conclusion that reparations are less expensive than insanity. White supremacy is insane. In other words so much energy and treasure is spent on trying to uphold the white supremacy narrative. White supremacy is real “fake news” that leaves America always divided against itself. That same tactic is so prevalent today that I am afraid that America’s enemies are poised to do some real damage to our nation. I think that anybody who works against African Americans is anti-America. It is not ok to work against citizens of this country. I consider this treason. If you are for African Americans you are for America. If you are against African Americans you are against America. That’s the bottom line.
. Mr. Jerry Jones, history will be kind to you this way. Right now you are the villain along with the head slave master. Stand up for yourself now. Stand for justice is my advice. Justice is the winning side.
Thank God for Brave "White Men" like John Brennan(CIA Director Under Obama Administration). I am so pleased to see some Strong White Men with "Balls" who are standing up to "The Pharaoh." Events like this give you hope that America can be the moral leader of the world even though progress in this area has been damaged severely. Mr. Brennan and your supporters are recognized here and need to be applauded loudly. You are the real Patriots compared to the ones who try to stifle your opinions as human beings. I get it myself because what you are experiencing is what African Americans have been experiencing for many generations. This is a huge fight but it is winnable no doubt. Justice must win. There is no other option. I have to acknowledge your stance as being on the right side of history. I can only hope that many White Americans will sound their voices loud and clear to support your right to speak out. African American leaders warned the world about The candidate Trump many times in the past.As a matter of fact they shouted it from the mountain top loud and clear. The decision not to support this candidate was a no brainer to me. I am still confused to why so many White Americans voted for this man when the evidence were in and it was not looking good for America at all. Is he or was he America's punishment? I do not know but I do know that I agree with you that He is dividing America even more than ever and that's not a good thing. I hope others are watching your lead and they are able to muster up enough courage to realize that a further divided nation is what the enemy wants. I am not sure that African Americans can benefit at all from another nation ruling America. I just think that America will benefit more from free African Americans. Freedom should be all of our goals.
I agree with you on this stance.. It's honorable and patriotic.
